Jihan Ansari MD, MPH
I'm so happy you found our practice, because that means you’re looking for better care. I worked for 6 years in the insurance-based system. It wasn’t long before I realized it was broken and I needed a change. Patients waited 30+ minutes to only be seen for a few minutes. I realized they were unhappy and, honestly weren’t getting healthier. That’s why I opened Harbor DPC, a modern approach that puts the focus on the patient rather than insurance companies or strict guidelines. I now work for and with my patients to create a more well-rounded, holistic approach that allows me to get to the root of issues.
I’m a mom of 2 littles and love helping families incorporate healthy lifestyle choices into their routine. Other passions include women’s health, hormone replacement therapy for men and women, and mental health treatment.

Pedram Ansari MD
Pedram is from beautiful British Columbia, Canada, and found himself in California for residency training where he met his wife, Jihan (above). He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well. Pedram loves to teach, and served as the Associate Program Director for internal medicine at Saint Agnes Medical Center for 3 years. His passion for medicine revolves around metabolic diseases such as Diabetes, heart diseases, high cholesterol, and hypertension. As part of the full scope of metabolic disease, Pedram is Board Certified in Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and provides medical treatment for weight loss. Pedram loves exploring the outdoors and traveling with his family.
